Our products are grouped in two main families: Insulated Pins and Surge Arresters. Additionally, we manufacture insulating supports and accessories such as Line Post Insulators and Surge Counters. All our insulators are manufactured with polymeric concrete, which is an insulating material produced with silica sand and polyester resin to be used outdoors. The polymeric concrete has excellent mechanical properties, high tracking resistance and exceptional dielectric properties. This material fulfills the tests requirements specified in the CFE specification 52000-04. RELIABILITY We have a Quality Management System that covers all the manufacturing process, based on the international standards ISO-9001:2000. A sample of 20% of the production of Insulated Pins are tested with three steep front impulses with negative polarity, a magnitude of 380 kV and a slope of 2.000 kV/ms. In case of a puncture failure in any test sample, the whole lot is tested 100%. Before the molding process, routine tests to the material (according to the CFE 52000-04 specification) are performed: dielectric strength and mechanical flexion. On the other hand, our surge arresters fulfill the operating cycle test and partial discharges test specified by the standard IEC 99-4. Our products are evaluated by our clients under the specifications CFE 52000-04 and CFE 52000-05.
