The insulator type post for indoor use (ASIN) combines both electrical and mechanical  properties to assure an exceptional insulation and mechanical resistance  (flexion, traction and impact) under short circuit  stresses.

The  application of this insulator is in cabinets and in medium voltage substations  as a mechanical support for buses, conductors, derived circuits, cables support,  etc. It includes ironworks (inserted threads) for its  fixation.

RELIABILITY OF THE ASIN
The insulator post mechanically supports more than 750 kg and is used as a support for  buses, and conductors (only for indoor use). It fulfills  the LFC-GTE-180 and IEC 273 specifications. The rated  voltage of the insulator can be 13 or 23 kV. However, its 60 Hz. withstand  voltage (dry) is over 70 kV.
